Microlipofilling
Microlipofilling procedure approaches all face or body areas requiring volume surplus.
The method consists of using own fat to fill an area that needs extra volume. The fat is sampled from other areas, which show anexcess of adipose tissue, such as abdomen, hips, inside region of the knees, and it is processed through washing and sedimentation.
With the help of micro cannula injections, the fat could betransplanted in the region of the folds between nose and mouth, of the lips, circles around the eye, or in malar and genian regions (cheek), to assign theface skin a toneful and youthful look.
Usually the respective areas areover-filled, in case the patient agrees to, being known that 30 to 50% of the transplanted fat will absorb within few months.
Another option is to repeat the procedure after 6 months toobtain a result as close as possible to the expected one. The same procedure is applied to other areas of the bodysuch as:
-
correction of depressive scars
-
correction of breast contour following implant mammary augmentation surgeries, with a very thin patient the margin of the implantcould be touched
-
augmentation of the buttocks area
-
increase of the shin circumference
-
liposculpture on any area of the body.
