What do the presurgical preparations consist of?

Before the surgery a strict cleaning of that region must be done with worm water and soap. It is contraindicated to administer aspirin or other anti inflammatory products, for at list 7 days before the injection, to reduce the risk of ecchymosis and significant hematoma.

The anesthesia is usually local and no special preparations are required before the surgery from this point of view.

If a general anesthesia is asked for, the patient will come to the clinic without having consumed food or drinks, for at list 6 hours before the surgery.

What does the post surgical care consist of ?

Following the surgery cold local applications are recommended. Anti inflammatory or antibiotic medication is very rarely prescribed. It is also required an intensive care for local hygiene through 5 to 6 washes per day with special soap and abundant worm water.

When could the sexual activity be resumed?

Sexual activity could be resumed within 3 days since the injection. Usually local symptoms disappears even sooner than 3 days. However there is a risk, pretty small, that the product migrates to areas of the immediate proximity. For these reasons, 3 days while the product is still soft it is better that you take a sexual rest.
